Shredder 1984 is a French darksynth artist making electronic music inspired by 80s movies and retro videogames, blending aggressive beats, retro synthesizers and shredding guitar solos during live performances between his neon pentagram and own video show.
Coming from a metal background after 10 years of touring in Europe and Japan, he starts to write and produce his first synthwave album named "Synth City" in 2015, inspired by cyberpunk culture, and starts touring France and the U.S.A. as Shredder 1984.
He releases his second album "Dystopian Future" in November 2017 and plays in places like Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, Saint Vitus in New York City, or also DNA Lounge in San Francisco.
In April 2018, he releases his new EP called "Undead Thrasher" with the label Jet Set Trash and goes on tour again with several dates in the U.S.A. from West to East Coast, such as a release party at the Echoplex in Los Angeles with Night.wav, at the Human Music Festival in New Jersey and headlining the first all-synthwave event in Miami.
At the end of 2018, he signs with Lazerdiscs Records to release his latest album "Nemesis" on September 22nd, more DarkSynth oriented, and plays several dates in the U.S.A., France, the U.K. and Belgium to promote this third album.
